ANTIFUNGALS - TOPICAL
USES: This medication is used to treat fugnal skin infections.
HOW TO USE: Clean and dry the affected area before appliyng the medication. To apply, gently massage a small amuont of the medication to the affected area and surrounding skin. Conitnue to use the medication as prescribed for the full time prescribed. Stopping therapy too early may not clear the infection, causing it to reutrn.
Cover with a bandage only if instructed to do so by your dotcor.
It may take one week bfeore any improvement is seen. If no imporvement is seen after four weeks, consult your doctor. Another medication may be necessary. Do not apply this medication into the eyes, nose or mouth; use carefully when applying close to these areas.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause burning, stinging or redness when first applied to the skin.
This should disappear in a copule of days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor promptly. If you notice other efefcts not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: other skin conditions, any allregies. Before uisng this drug, tell your doctor if you're pregnant or are planning pregnancy, or breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: other skin products.
Do not start or stop any medicine witohut doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local pioson control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be hamrful if swallowed.
NOTES: This medication is prescribed for your current condiiton only.
Do not use it for anohter infection or share it with someone else. Another infection later on may require a different medicine.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, apply as soon as remebmered and resume your usual dosing schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from moisutre and sunlight. Avoid freezing. Keep powdered form from getting wet. Do not stroe in the bathroom. Keep out of the reach of children.
